Way to go Monkey and Terrance

The rain came and never stopped until everyone had packed up to go home. The track had one lake near the end of the straight away, pit row was flooded. Monkey took a few shocking moments trying to unplug a cable and gave up.

Detailed Race Results

1st qual 4 laps, died with 10 seconds left on the clock. Top Qualifier gas truck. 2nd qual 7 laps made entire time Top qualifer gas truck. Main race died lap 2 and 4, started right back up each time. 1st place Gas Truck

Thanks to my fellow spring rollz concession teammate breaking in the main race, Monkey made it to 3rd place. Terrance got 4th place in electric stadium truck.

Terrance got 1st place in 2wd electric buggy. Way to go Team Spring Rollz.

Did anyone see that take down on Mike Sage to slow him down in the 1st Qualifier?

Ghetto fixed my truck with a zip tie!! Worked flawlessly, wish I had seen that damage during the break before 2nd qualifier instead of the 3rd qualifier!!!

Missing truck found

The missing truck mystery may have been solved. Detective monkey
believes the truck was used for parts to make the nitro buggy into a
truck, but I still think I had 3 chassis with 2 buggies and 1 truck

I have everything that was with it when it left the house, all of those items are here, so where is the Truck?

Monkey gets 1st place Friday

Ok well no one showed up with an electric truck so, I take it by default!!!

There better be more people tomorrow!!!!

Where is the Monkey this weekend?

The Monkey will be at Farmers Friday with his gas truck. Saturday morning Monkey will be at Lil Dover with his electric truck or buggy. Saturday afternoon Monkey will be at Farmers with the electric truck or buggy. Sunday Monkey will be at Lake Park with gas truck.

Dremel Hazards

Well never do anything with a dremel without a dust mask.
After cutting my new FIRESTORM body from its mold,
I went to eat and discovered a ball of something making it way down my throat.
After a few hours it moved down past the wind pipe until this moring when it made it to my intestines.

All is fine now, so remember kids, wear a dust mask!!!

WOW $35 buys alot of RC

Went to Hobbytown today, found a new body for my HPI Nitro Firestorm, and found a bunch of clearanced Duratrax Evader Stadium Trucks parts. I am trying to decide if I should paint the body or just apply the stickers.

The great debate

I can not decide what to do with my $100 extra I made this weekend.

Should I

A. Trade in a video game system and buy the newer version.

B. Save it for a rainy day.

C. Buy better tools for RC racing

D. Buy a trailer thats for sale.

E. Should I save another week and get a trailer hitch so that the Trailer could be used.

F. Just save up about $400 and get a down payment on a truck, but with todays gas prices I do not know.

FARMERS STATE RACE RESULTS

Monkey did not race.
Mechanic Terrance and member of Spring Rollz Concession finished 7th in the B main.
Fellow racer Gough finished 3 seconds from making it to the A main.
Lots of Farmers racers seemed to do good at the State Races.
Can not wait until the Electric Race this Weekend!!

All set for Farmers State Race

The tent is all setup for this weekends state race. Taking my 4 RC airplanes, and RC helicopter tomorrow and have a field day with it. Debating whether to take my RC boat for the little pond.

Team Springrollz Another 1st Place

Thanks to teammate Terrance Team Springrollz has another 1st place in RC racing.
Even tho Super Monkey did not make it to the Finals, Terrance got TQ and 1st place in Gas Truck.

Farmers State Race

I can not wait to see all the RC racing Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hope to watch many races and learn some new tricks. I will have to run a concession stand on Sunday, can not wait to sell monkey burgers and monkey fries!!!

Monkey didn't make the main race

Monkey had issues all day with the gas truck, practice stalled, 1st qualifier bad turn marshalling, 2nd qualifier, did not start on time due to starting the truck issues, then stalled twice. Seems to be issue when trying to go fast, works fine when i just idle around the track, only when trying to move faster then slower. Then due to sponsor becoming ill, had to go home before main race

There will be racing this Saturday at Farmers, brand new layout on the track!!

LIL DOVER 2 RC RACES

5/4 Rotunda RC race

Mechanic and fellow springrollz concession teammate Terrance, got 1st place in Gas truck. Whats more amazing is that Terrance did this not with his own gas truck, but a borrowed Duratrax Nitro Evader ST from the Monkey collection. Way to go Terrance.

FINALLY 1 BOX

I finally have all my electric and nitro stuff in one organized box.
Only thing that won't fit at moment is shock towers for the Evaders, and the starter box for my nitro truck.

Everything else is in it.

Now monkey can race and do concessions!!!!

Preparing for Sunday

Starting to charge my starter box and my glow plug in case I decide to
race my gas truck, Sunday at Lil Dover Dirt Oval.

No races at Farmers

This Friday or Saturday there will not be racing at Farmers. I may attempt dirt oval race again on Sunday, do not know if I should do gas truck or electric buggy or electric truck.
