As you can see from Sportsmans Gas Truck results, Team Super Monkey got 2nd place and our team mate from SpringRollz Concessions got 1st

First Race Lake Park 2nd Place Monkey!!!!

My first race at Lake Park, came in 2nd place in main race. Finished with a broken front wheel, but somehow managed to finish. Did not even need to pit and refill the tank.
Thanks to my mechanic "Terrance"and his starter box in the main race, mine somehow took a crap in between 2nd q and the main race!!! Been repaired thanks to Gough.

1st and 2nd for Team SpringRollz Concessions yet again!!!

Finally a Transponder

I now own my own AMB Transponder!!!!
The last piece of expensive stuff I need.
Now just need a huge assortment of tires just for racing. Have lots for just bashing around.

Lake Park Sunday

Plan to race my 1/10 Gas truck, and my 1/10 Elec buggy Sunday. Have never turned marshalled at Lake Park so we will see how that goes.

No more farmers till state race

Track is under construction for the up coming state race. So no more easy wins for the Monkey.
May 17th and 18th.

Will be at Lake Park every Sunday until then.

Thrift store find!!

Found 2 dremel rotary tools and got them both for a combined $20.
They have no accessories, but we can shop for those another time.

Sunday Lake Park

Saw 2 people, who entered gas trucks and they were mixed in with the electric buggies.
Hopefully next race, I will own a transponder and enter my Gas Truck!!!

Team Springrollz Avon Park

Terrance the team mechanic brought home 1st in 1/10 electric buggy, 1st in 1/10 electric stadium truck, 2nd in 1/10 Monster Truck Class, he was thrown into the monster truck class because there was not enough gas truck entries.

Way to go Terrance, Team Springrollz wins again.

No race Friday

Monkey did not race Friday. Was the race announcer.

Monkeying Around

Fixed the the starter box issue, have to push down the front of the truck and push throttle at same time, after a few minutes it starts. Once started it is easy to keep running. Mechanic Terrance has it running great!!

MONKEY WINS GAS TRUCK RACE

Monkey won his 2nd gas truck race. His mechanic Terrance and fellow sponsored driver of Spring Rollz Concessions came in 2nd.

2nd week in a Row a 1-2 finish for Team Spring Rollz.

If not for the cool calm mechanic Terrance, Monkey would not have even made the first race. Monkey is having some issues with the starter box, and will be practicing some more to see what the issue is.

At track by 1:30

I'll be at the track by 1:30 since I am cashing my check before work.
That will give me lots of practice time and organizing time as well.

Saturday race

No dirt oval today, rain scared us off, farmers off road no one showed
up to race. So 1st place for the team super monkey.

First Nitro Truck Race Results

Super Monkey came in 2nd place, our Sponsored Driver/Mechanic came in 1st.
Thanks to all that broke or did not start the race. They kept yelling monkey hit the gas, but the monkey knew, slow and steady is the best way, and 2nd is better then last!!!
